Does Mayor Bill de Blasio’s traveling impair his ability to run the city?

Mayor Bill de Blasio’s critics have been chastising him for giving speeches in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, California and Washington, D.C., saying he should focus on his job in New York City. The mayor says he is pushing the message that the nation must address income inequality and help its urban centers, and that his advocacy helps New York.
